Jerry Williams is a 20 year old narrative singer songwriter from Portsmouth. At the age of 11 Jerry took up her first instrument, the classical guitar and achieved a grade 6 level before at the age of 14. She then turned her talent to songwriting, drawing inspiration for her lyrics from her life growing up in her beloved town of Portsmouth, her relationships with people and of course boys.
Jerry loves a wide variety of music, from Slow Club, Coldplay, Jamie T, Vampire Weekend, Jake Bugg, and Kate Nash. There’s a freshness to Jerry’s narrative storytelling that is striking a note with everyone that comes into contact with her music and as such some top artists and songwriters have already requested to work with her including Jim Duguid (Paulo Nutini), Dan Carey (Miles Kane, Nick Mulvey, Sia) Carey Willets (Athlete), & Nick Atkinson (Gabrielle Aplin).
