Introducing: Bryde

Bryde 800

Exciting new London solo-artist Bryde released her debut EP, simply entitled EP1, in May 2016 via Seahorse Music. The release contains previous singles “Wait” and “Help Yourself” alongside two brand new tracks (“Nectar” and “To Be Loved”) which have already been making an impact at her live shows around the country.

Earning comparisons to Sharon Van EttenPJ HarveyJeff Buckley and London Grammar, her powerful vocals, sharp, evocative lyricism and searing guitar tones have won plaudits from the likes of NYLONThe 405 and The Line Of Best Fit, with the latter declaring Bryde’s heady concoction as “tearjerk folk-pop”.

Radio support has come from Tom Robinson and Chris Hawkins on 6Music as well as Huw Stephens on Radio 1(who also added “Help Yourself” to his Best of BBC Introducing playlist). Summer 2016 will see Bryde perform at a number of UK festivals, including Dot to DotHow The Light Gets In and Swn, before embarking on a headline UK tour this autumn.
