Juniper Album Launch

Genre-bending, energising, mesmerising, boundary-crossing… Juniper are a group of close friends who combine their collective musical influences on the stage to create a show full of bold & intriguing traditional and contemporary sounds.

They draw in their listeners with driving riffs, joyous tunes, and intricate textures and contrast this by stripping back the sound world, returning to their roots of listening to and playing folk music with mesmerisingly delicate and intimate arrangements.

Featuring Support From:

Filkins Drift

Filkin’s Drift reimagine traditional melodies through pizzicato grooves, intricate guitar tunes, and boundless improvisation. Their original compositions are sophisticated, yet rooted in tradition. From delicate Welsh folk-songs to traditional English dance tunes, the duo blend fiddle and guitar with their close vocal harmonies. They are fast gaining recognition for performances that are “utterly mesmerising” (Bristol 24/7) and “hugely entertaining” (RnR). The duo’s latest ventures include forming a 15-piece orchestral-folk band (Filkin’s Ensemble) and releasing their debut EP with an 870-mile walking tour of the Welsh coast.

Potter is a natural soul singer, lyrically honest with a penchant for a catchy chorus, he’s as happy on his own with a guitar and kick drum as he is fronting a heavy band.  Since the heady days as guitarist and singer of former festival favourites ‘Yes Sir Boss’, he has immersed himself in the world of theatre, shifting the context of his practise with great success gaining critical acclaim for his work as a composer and performer alike.  Now, having begun writing and recording his debut solo project, armed with a bunch of new songs, Potts is back doing what he loves most, Performing live to the people. Expect carefully crafted songs, unforgettable riffs and virtuosic guitar playing all wrapped up in a soaring tenor vocal.
