With quizzical social commentary, Idle Hours culminate the sense of cruising rhythm with jagged guitar and melody. Hailing from 4 unique English towns, the band are relative newcomers to the current indie and post-punk landscapes, with two singles “Scream in Stereo’ and ‘Made Flesh’ under their belt. The band have developed a sound that blends genre, creating engaging and energised music that is turning heads. 
 A productive end to 2021 saw the band perform shows with The Lounge Society, Silverbacks and The Rills, before beginning 2022 featuring in Manchester-based promoter Now Waves top picks for 2022 alongside Wet Leg, Porij and TV Priest. Now, at a time when fresh and exciting new music is at the forefront of everyone’s minds, Idle Hours return with their 3rd single ‘Souvenirs’. 
 An infectious motorik infused, jangle-pop entry with driving bass and chanting, catchy vocals, Souvenirs is a natural evolution for the band as they take their sound to new heights. Recorded with Seadna McPhail (The Orielles, Doves) at Airtight Studios, Souvenirs is the first taste of what is to come for the band in 2022.
