Hanwell / The Jettys / Owen La Cortar / Ok Cane
Hanwell is the creative project of producer, songwriter Joe Jackson. With a full lineup of friends in the band, they play a range of upbeat indie bedroom pop tunes set to blow the cobwebs away after a gig-hibernation in lockdown. It will be an energy-packed show sure to get you dancing. Find the release I Would on Spotify and don’t miss this fantastic show.
The Jettys- Formed out of early adolescent-hood, The Jetty’s are a Birmingham based 4 piece. Taking influence from indie bands such as Two Door Cinema Club and Bloc Party, combined with more rock and funk influences such as Foals and Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
The debut single ‘Little Eye’ rolled onto the scene in February of 2019 kicking off the band’s career. An eclectic mix of indie influenced guitars and folk influenced songwriting truly showcased the bands ability to mix their individual influences together to create a truly unique sound.
Come March 2020 ‘Dance With Me’ was released. A feel good, up-beat ‘Dance-y’ song with a much more obviously indie undertone. This tune showcased the bands ability to play more uptempo music that caters to the now very well established indie scene where they are from.
Having now finished the writing process for their upcoming singles the band are now in the process of recording their anticipated upcoming releases.
Owen La Cortar- “I’m a solo electro-rock singer/songwriter and producer from Wolverhampton. I’ve recently released my first solo album, and am very excited for the opportunity to perform some of these songs live for the first time!”
Ok Cane- Brought together from the Leicester music scene, their music is influenced by a multitude of genres including Alice in Chains, The Smiths, Bon Iver, Mowtown and many more.
