Giant and The Georges
‘Zingy hooks, tangy riffs and vocal harmonies sweeter than honey!’
Giant and the Georges are dynamic performers, blending shimmering indie-rock with frantic lyricism.A four piece alternative indie-rock band based in the Black Country. Giant and the Georges is formed of two brothers (the Georges) and a relatively tall man (the Giant). By combining their eclectic range of influences, Giant and the Georges have created an electrifying fusion that is guaranteed to captivate any audience (terms and conditions apply).
North of Paradise
North of Paradise are a 3 piece, Coventry based alt rock band with a melancholic core and gritty overtones. This band contrasts raw and expressive vocals with punchy, melodic guitars capturing the essence of empowering lyrical concepts.
The Punk Monkeys
The Punk Monkeys are a Rock band from Birmingham, who all share the same love for music. We formed at our college, early 2019 and since then have played at various pubs, and venues around Birmingham including both the O2 Academy and institute. Our music at the moment is a mixture of covers and originals however we are working hard on some new material to put on our setlist and to release in the year. We also have our single “everlasting wave’ out at the moment on all streaming services, which was the first song we wrote as a band. Our style at the moment is a mix between hard, alternative and Punk rock, as growing up all of us were influenced by bands such as Nirvana, Foo fighters, Green Day, Royal blood, the chats, Slaves, The Jam and many more.
Eighty Eight Miles
Indie/Alternative duo, Eighty Eight Miles are a colourful, up and coming collective from the Midlands, UK. With their name originating from the hit movie trilogy “Back To The Future”, the duo met at a music college in Birmingham and consists of lead vocalist/ guitarist Ellie Grice and drummer Dan Hobday. The foundation of their music is built upon a wide variety of inspirations such as Fleetwood Mac, Declan McKenna, The 1975 and The Killers. However, melodically and harmonically, artistic inspirations from bands such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys and even ABBA shine through in the duo’s music.
