Stereo Honey

Stereo Honey, have a new tune out, ‘Don’t Speak’.

Don’t Speak’ proves that Stereo Honey continue to promise everything and deliver even more. If you haven’t heard them before, there has never been a better time than now. You can find the song here.

Having built to an insane level, Stereo Honey kindly provide us with an unexpected breather – or as it turns out a few moments to prepare ourselves – with the euphoric atmosphere making way for more exposed musicality. Sparsely accompanied initially, it’s an opportunity to be reminded that regardless of the sensation being created, the musicality within their tracks never wavers.

Stereo Honey will play at The Sunflower Lounge on Oct 5th. Tickets available here.

The band has also confirmed attendance to Radio 1’s Indie Show with Jack Saunders on 4th September!

Whatever you do, don’t speak, don’t think, just go and listen!

It was a rapid rise onto the scene for London quartet Stereo Honey in 2017, and they aren’t slowing down in 2018. The band started this year as the BBC introducing ‘Featured Artist’, performed to a packed house at the prestigious Eurosonic Festival in Groningen, were asked to support The Amazons at their ‘War Child / Brit Awards Show’ in February and got themselves nominated as ‘Best New Live Act’ at the 2018 UMA awards that proceed UK’s premiere break through artist festival, The Great Escape where they were announced as part of the ‘First Fifty’ acts to perform at the festival.

Having introduced themselves at the start of 2017 year with a stunning debut track ‘Where No One Knows Your Name’ and quickly followed up by break-through track ‘The Heart’, the band made it clear that they were here to lead the resurgence of soulful Indie guitar music, driven by the solid beats of Jake Black, accentuated by the intricate guitar soundscapes of Nicky Boiardi, guided by the grooves of bassist Ben Edwards and always framed by the stunning vocal delivery of singer Pete Restrick.

Their debut Monuments EP was a recurring feature on many an end of year favourite list, and the lead single ‘The Bay’ was number 1 hype track on Hype Machine, and a staple in all the top Spotify guitar playlists including The Indie List, Hot New Bands, The Other List, Your Office Stereo and while the band graced the Top Of The Rock as the cover stars, the track was placed firmly at the head of the playlist.

Stereo Honey spent 2017 playing shows in the farthest corners of the country with the directive of making sure their name was consistently on the lips of all of who happened to be in the audience, people who left unquestionably proclaiming them as a contender to be one of the acts that starts the rise to the top in 2018.

The band finished their 2017 with the crescendo of releasing their debut EP Monument as well as being named by The Independent & Radio X in their ‘Ones To Watch’ 2018.
