ARSE exploded from suburban Sydney in 2017 and haven’t slowed down in a decade – releasing underground classics Primitive Species, Safe Word, Kaputt and a split seven-inch with phenomenal sax and drum duo Party Dozen – a partnership that’s forged one of Australia’s smallest – but one of its most crucial – independent imprints in Grupo.

Likened to everything from Morris-era Black Flag to King Gizz, their sound has landed ARSE on bills with Aussie punk royalty Amyl and The Sniffers, Cosmic Psychos, Hard Ons, These New South Whales and Civic across a glut of Australian and European touring.

Complete with live-wire guitars, sledgehammer rhythms and absolutely smouldering production from the band’s own Jonathan Boulet, ARSE are truly a band on fucking fire.
