After a year of captivating live audiences, UK punk band Ideal Club have recorded a 5 track EP, inspired by life in the second city.
Poking fun at press and politics, the band have an acerbic wit, matched by a colossal punk sound. Dan’s vocals blast through the speakers and Patrick supplies big bluesy riffs and enthralling melodies. Think Slaves (UK) with a second city twang from a group of lads who have honed their craft in front of live crowds, week after week.
With support from BBC Introducing and local music press, the band are set to take off in a big way in 2017, with dates around the UK, and more new music towards an album at the end of the year.
