Truman Dinosaur – Having played their first show at Bussey Building about a year ago, they’ve since supported Peace at New Slang and played the So Young Magazine festival last year alongside whenyoung and SWIM DEEP.

Truman Dinosaur have been quietly working in the wings, honing their craft and recently released their first offering, ‘Turn Me Into a Crocodile (and let me eat your ego)’

Velvet Tides – Birmingham-based hazy post-gaze quartet have just unleashed their impressive debut single ‘Into Light’ to the music masses.

They meld subtle alternative led shoegaze sensibilities with the wistful ambient tinged swirls of dream-pop and an overriding pulse of post-punk to good effect.

Having already supported the likes of Yowl and Lumer, as well as receiving accolades from BBC Introducing, Primal Music and Track of the Day by This Feeling, Velvet Tides are an exciting new band to watch this year.
