Vulnerable, honest, ethereal: this is the music of Speak, Brother.

Boasting a powerful indie-folk-rock sound with subtle hymnal and gospel tones, their story based anthems have drawn comparisons to the likes of Of Monsters and Men, Kodaline and Fleet Foxes.

After successful tours with the likes of Julien Barbagallo (Tame Impala), the band stamped their mark on the scene with their crowdfunded Album “Young & Brave” in April 2018. The Album recorded with Gavin Monaghan (The Sherlocks) achieved multiple plays on BBC Radio 2 and became BBC Georgey’s artist of the week with a sound to have been “designed to swell the emotions and arrest the heart” (Listen with Monger).

The band are coming back to Birmingham with a new single and a UK headline tour in November 2018.

Formed during the winter of 2017 in the heart of Birmingham’s warehouse and creative quarter, cinematic indie pop duo Hunger Moon are vocalist Natalie Jenkins and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist James Attwood.

They have wasted no time establishing themselves as ones to watch, having received coverage from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio, It’s All Indie and shared stages with the likes of Adam French, Joseph J Jones and Joe Dolman. Hunger Moon were handpicked by Rough Trade Records to appear at this year’s Y Not Festival alongside appearances at Lunar Festival and 110 Above Festival.

“We suspect that we are going to hear a lot more of Hunger Moon, they are enchanting and fresh.” – BBC Introducing West Midlands
