Rai Kah Mercury makes a much-anticipated return to The Sunflower Lounge on 7 September for a show you will not want to miss.

Following the sold-out success of their last visit the band has released the barnstorming ‘I Fell In Love With A Feeling’, which Down The Front Media described as “a blissful anthem for the summer months”, and with new single Road That Leads To Nowhere released on 17 August this promises to be a night of celebration.

RKM’s live performances showcase the diversity of their output, from soulful, melancholy feels, to adrenaline-fuelled electric jams that will leave you wanting more. Joining the boys on their bill is Brighton/Burton based heavyweight grunge trio Murmur.

So let Rai Kah Mercury end your summer in style and to quote Down The Front Media again “as the glorious solo kicks in, if you can’t imagine lying back in the grass, dosed up on Piriton, surrounded by citronella candles on a hazy summer’s evening then frankly you and I are very different people”

Murmur are a grunge band born in East Staffordshire, currently based in Brighton. Murmur produce playful yet dark themes, providing a backdrop for their socially conscious lyrics. Taking influences from The Strokes, Eagulls, Killing joke and Radiohead they are a band not to be missed!

Sleep Patterns‘ melodic indie style is characterised by dreamy, reverb-drenched guitar and vocals, eccentric lyrics and infectious drumbeats. The trio’s debut EP Flesh&Blood is a quietly uncomfortable acoustic record, and this is to be followed by a full band single, recorded at the legendary Magic Garden studio in Wolverhampton, later this year.
