Phil Madeley is a diverse solo artist from Birmingham who seamlessly blends a depth of influence and cutting originality. His voice, both gritty and soothing, serves as the perfect vehicle for his reactions to the trepidations of modern life. In turn, his songs provide the perfect refuge from said complexities. Think Neil Young meets Jamie T.

Having shared bills with other notable Birmingham acts such as Sugarthief, and Violet, Madeley is about to cement himself amongst the B-Town elite acts.

He has worked on recording with notable producers such as Chris Hayden of Florence and The Machine. With an EP due to be released at the end of 2018, the demos recorded on his tape machine with his band in his living room will have to suffice. Though raw, they give the perfect insight to an artist who both reels and rages. Sonically progressing from a solo singer/songwriter, Madeley has brought together talented musicians both on tape and now live. Forming a band which serves to strengthen his case as one of the standout solo artists in the country.
