NOT EVEN CLOSE + FAINTER + EMILY CRIBB
Not Even Close formed in Trosa in 2014 where aspiring musicians Pontus Asp (guitar) and Oskar Sokolovs (drums) began work on turning their playful recreations of All Time Low into their own indie-punk songs. The high-school friends started out as a two-piece, but after meeting Dylan Bradford (guitar) and Mikael Alm (bass), their band was complete. The band accumulated a tremendous amount of local buzz through regular shows and continue to frequently sell out venues with their growing devout, loyal fanbase. The band aims for an energetic Modern Baseball vibe, with lyricism inspired by The Front Bottoms and a humorous, dynamic, and bouncy live persona. They are currently planning a European tour which will commence summer 2018.

“18-year-old Emily Cribb whipped up a chilled and relaxed vibe with her acoustic stylings and sweet voice. Cribb, with her mature, sticky sweet vocals and beautiful lyrics began her set with her own song, ‘Rose’, as well as taking on her own rendition of ‘Someone You’d Admire’ by Fleet Foxes which seemed to cause a hum of delight from the crowd. Cribb showcased her talents further as she transitioned from guitar to piano to give us some more of her originals such as ‘Crossroads’ as well as a debut performance of a nameless track. We will be waiting to see more from this lovely songstress.” Counteract Magazine
