After playing headline shows in their hometown of Coventry they are branching out for the first time and bringing a high energy show to The Sunflower Lounge in Birmingham!

The east London trio with roots in Birmingham, UK and Melbourne, Australia formed under the sun of 2018 have pedigree of playing in front of packed audiences and playing with the likes of Temper Trap, The Enemy, Bombay Bicycle Club, The View to openings of Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green stores.
Picasso 45s sight 60’s Soho, 70’s Manhattan, Alabama Whitman, Mark Renton, John Winston Lennon, Keith ‘Keef’ Richards, Sean Connery, James Dean, modernism, The Modern Lovers and each of The Strokes as just the tip of their influences.

Ex-members of the legendary indie rock band Hurricane #1, Carlo & Lucas Mariani have started FREESPIRITS out of their burning passion for music, wanting to shake things up in their local scene
and bring rock and roll back from the dead along the way.
They make their own blend of Britpop and Grunge with the right dose of catchy melodies, fuzzy riffs and groovy beats. They play every single show like it’s their last and always get the crowd involved. Influenced by the likes of Oasis, The Verve, Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin and many others. Bands that, like FREESPIRITS, make music from the heart with no labels and no compromising. Their music has been played on several radios including Virgin Radio UK and BBC Radio.
They’ve played festivals like Great Escape, Sound City, Bingley Live (Main Stage), Guilfest, Basingstoke Live (Main Stage), Worcester and Eastleigh Festival.

Elk formed in the early days of 2018, 4 lads with the same love for music. Coming from different universes of music, they now have landed on the same planet.
With 1000s of gigs shared between the years, Elk has shared some amazing stages, with bands such as Kasabian, Libertines, The Kills, Metronomy, The Rifles, The Enemy, Republica and The Datsuns.
The music paints a picture of many influences, ranging from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Ryan Adams, Alabama Shakes, King Of Leon, Fleetwood Mac, Band Of Horses and Oasis.
